I am back in San Antonio after a whirlwind late spring/early summer of travel and conferences. One thing that seemed to come up over and over again was the desire and need to talk about and normalize death and the dying process.
With my beautiful mentor, Mary Thorsby, I have created a curriculum to use yoga therapy as the lens through which we view this sacred and magical time. I believe that it is my dharma to invite people to this path. When I presented about Yoga Therapy at the End of Life at the annual Symposium of Yoga Therapy and Research, so many people came up to me afterwards asking, "I feel called to do this work. How do I begin?" Here is your invitation.
On Monday, July 7 at 6:30 PM Central Time I will be holding an End of Life Yoga Certification Info session. This is absolutely free and with no obligation to sign up for the course. I'm interested in hearing from you - what do you need as permission to go out and do this work? What skills do you want to learn? If you feel a desire to serve, how can I best serve your needs?
I won't post the Zoom link here, but if you are on my mailing list, you'll be getting it. (If you're not on my mailing list, this is an invitation to sign up!)
As always, if you have questions or want to comment, please do so.
Much metta to you all,
Natalie
