Alaia adriana
I am ecstatic to be a part of the Lacuna Community troupe! I enjoy meditation, acting, singing, spending time with my family and exercising. You can usually find me hanging out with friends and listening to music.

Asher Streets
I'm a Multi-disciplinary Renaissance guy, with degrees in Music Composition and Biological Systems Engineering. I look at the world through the lenses of food, music and color. I play many classical instruments, sing, paint, cook, and write. I'm an ex-pat in Uruguay, planning to stay long-term. I'm learning Spanish as fast as I can, though it mixes with the Italian I learned in college. I have 2 amazing kids in Wisconsin, whom I miss terribly, and a cat named Mango who fetches and says "hello" when he wants to go outside (with me here in South America). I'm closer to Antarctica than I am to the tip of Peru, so this group could be an important community to me, as I'm here adventuring solo. I hope to meet other beautiful, creative souls, and re-engage with my love of composing music, with focus on 7+ individual chakra meditations for yoga practice.
lacuna community is not a theatre company. this is a space to grow artistically.

Each member of the Lacuna Troupe was selected because of their talents, expertise, and passion.
Our core values at Lacuna Community are balance, compassion, and clarity, and we invite every Troupe member to share those values with us. Every class, workshop, rehearsal, and performance will be conducted with these core values at the forefront, so we can make our lacuna a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

Want to become a member of our troupe? We will hold open auditions for the 2022 Winter/Spring Troupe in December.

I’m an actor/singer/comedian based in Los Angeles hailing from New York City. NYC brought me the world of comedy, improv and sketch writing from UCB Theatre and Magnet Theatre. Regional theatre credits include Geva Theatre and Rochester Fringe. Favorite roles include Petra (A Little Night Music), Sally Brown (You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown) and Joan (Dames at Sea). I’m thrilled to be in the Lacuna Troupe and have my creativity nurtured so it can bloom.
Brian hodges
I grew up in a small town, attended college in another small town, and moved to the big city (San Antonio) to pursue and learn as much as possible about doing theatre. I worked full-time at University of Texas at San Antonio for about 5 years, and currently work at Thrive Youth Center at the Haven for Hope campus. Still addicted to theatre, I am still studying voice and dabbling into the Texas film scene.

I am a globe-trotting lover of the: arts, good food, good drink, & people of all walks of life. As a child, I wanted to be an actress but did not believe it could be a practical reality. I have been fortunate enough to realize this dream as an adult through community theatre & most recently, Lacuna Community.
If anyone reading this has a "reoccurring" dream, please be encouraged to go after it. Anything is possible for anyone at any time - you just have to give it a go!

MARY ANN KOHAUT
I am a lifelong student and a survivor. I believe in spreading love & kindness. I am working my way through a fine arts program right now. Finding balance in life is what keeps me going. Living mindfully, Yoga, and Meditation is what grounds me. Writing is how I process life. Making art is how I express myself. I lost one of my children to addiction last year and the grief is too painful for words, but I am learning that it’s ok to be sad and that grief is love. I look for happiness in moments and I find them. My hope for my future is that I can find a way to share my story and help others heal through art therapy.

I am Nicholas Zars. I am an undergraduate music education major at The University of Texas at San Antonio. My principal instrument is saxophone, however, I have made an effort to learn all the commonly used woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments.
