MAKING SPACE FOR ART
Take a moment to breathe and create with Hearts Need Art and Lacuna Community for a Yoga Nidra and Scrape Painting Workshop.
Lacuna Community will take the first 20 minutes to lead us through Yoga Nidra, which is the practice of deep and purposeful rest while experiencing a guided meditation through body awareness. We spend much of our time in light and sound, forcing the body into wakefulness and the fight or flight response, where we are always on alert, doing, thinking, and overthinking.

Yoga Nidra has been found to soothe the nervous system, which results in physical, mental, and emotional relaxation in our body.

Hearts Need Art will then show you how to make beautiful art with old gift or credit cards instead of paint brushes.

Workshop is free but donations will be divided between Lacuna Community and Hearts Need Art.

Heart's Need Art is an arts-in-health nonporift based in San Antonio, Texas. Their mission is to create moments of joy, self-expression, and connection with those facing life-altering health challenges through arts engagement, advocacy, and innovation.
